Summer is here which means it’s iced coffee/lemonade/horchata season (at least for me). Iced drinks are a double whammy when it comes to waste because they usually come in plastic containers with a disposable straw. We're not focusing on straws today because I believe in baby steps. I’ll talk about straws in another post. For now, let's just focus on bringing our own cups.
Summer is officially here and I'm so excited to get back to exploring my lovely city. It's crazy to think Brandon and I moved to Sacramento almost a year ago! We've made good friends and settled into our day-to-day life here, but I definitely feel like we're still getting to know the city.
I came across this capsule wardrobe tag through my video suggestions on YouTube. and even though technically no one tagged me (I'm telling myself it's because the tag is almost a year old), that's not stopping me from participating!
This post is the first in a series on low waste living experiments! My hope is to inspire you to take a step (not a plunge) towards a life that is tinted green by sharing which changes I've incorporated into my life.
Cool, let's talk about totes!
